Actinia is named after a sea anemone, a sea dweller, which is friendly and bright. We like this plant and its name, as it has a connection to the underwater world!

But why did we found Actinia?
We all know that most people do not like to deal with insurances, but everybody is aware of the fact that it is necessary to have at least a few. Unfortunately today divers need some extra insurances to be covered sufficiently when they practise their passion.

Our idea was to combine all this with an insurance that people need to have for their financial security, a personal accident insurance.
Among the leading global players we were able to find those insurance companies that understood the task and were willing to work with us to make our idea come true. From there we started our mission to develop a unique product for the whole European diving community. The enormous amount of members in this community enabled us to negotiate highly competitive prices and coverage for divers and also for their family members.
